September: The Holy Family
About Us:
Jesus, Mary and Joseph are the Holy Family. Joseph is the foster father of Jesus. Jesus was entrusted to his care for his life on earth. Joseph is also the husband of the Virgin Mary, Mother of God. He is the one who kept Jesus and Mary safe and provided for them. He is the one who loved and cared for them.
Mary is the Ever Virgin Mother of God. She was supported and loved by Joseph as she lived her life as wife and Mother of Jesus.
Jesus is True God and True Man. He was born by the Holy Spirit of the Virgin Mary. He was always faithful and obedient to Joseph and Mary.
Pray with Us:
Jesus, Mary and Joseph, in you we see the splendor of true love; to you we turn with trust. Holy Family of Nazareth, grant that our families too may be places of prayer.
Holy Family of Nazareth, Protect and help all those who experience violence, rejection and division; may all who have been hurt find comfort and healing.
Holy Family of Nazareth, help us to be more aware of the sacredness and holiness of the family, and its beauty in God’s plan.
Jesus, Mary and Joseph, Graciously hear our prayer.
