Best perks of my job- one of the coolest things is when we read and reflect on Bible passages and the youth will get several different messages from it. They have such profound thoughts and such a beautiful understanding of the Lord. They teach me to keep it simple and not constantly over complicate Jesus’ love for me.

What do you feel God is calling you to do- I have felt a call in my life lately to provide community and a home. While I was in high school Holy Redeemer was my ‘home away from home’ and I always had a place of comfort to grow and be authentic. I have been feeling called to give the youth of the parish the space to explore who they are and who God is calling them to be.

Favorite song to pray with and why- Besides any Daniel Schmit cover or original song, Beautiful Things has been the song on my heart lately. Every day we encounter some sort of brokenness whether it be in our relationships, school, work, or even ourselves. Jesus doesn’t just accept our brokenness, rather He holds us close to Him and meets us where we are at. He reminds us in this song that He is using us even on our worst days to be who we are meant to be.
