Ephphatha means open your ears to hear the words from heaven and to see God's marvels in daily circumstances. Ephphatha is also the ability to lose your tongue to proclaim the wonders and praise of God. "He has done everything well... he makes the deaf hear and the mute speak" (Mark 7:37) At the end of his life, Salomon failed to open God's voice turning to alien gods and his kingdom collapsed and was torn apart.
