WITNESS TO HOPE - DO THE MATH
Like any goal, it can seem overwhelming, but when you really break it down to what that would mean on a daily basis you can quickly realize that your goal is truly attainable. So let's look at the Witness to Hope campaign. For some, even the smallest goal can seem unreachable, but look at how you spend your money everyday, and take it to prayer...is this how God wants me to use the blessings He has given me?
Take your pledge to prayer....
O God, hear our humble prayer. Pour your Holy Spirit upon every person within our diocese that all may come to know, love and serve you as faithful and generous witnesses to the enduring hope found only in You. With the help of Mary, our Mother may we bear witness to the glory of God with great joy. Bless this campaign by igniting a new enthusiasm for the sacred mission we share as disciples of your Son, especially as we care for those who experience despair. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, the source of our hope, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen
Gratitude
And let the peace of Christ control your hearts, the peace into which you were also called in one body. And be thankful (Col. 3:15)
Joy
Each must do as already determined, without sadness or compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. (2 Cor. 9:7)
Love
If I give away everything I own, and if I hand over my body so that I may boast but do not love, I gain nothing. (1 Cor. 13:3)
